LETTERS FROM NATIONAL PASTORS

Dear Dr. Dave,
Greetings in the most precious Name. God's work here in Sabtang is more challenging but God's powerful hand is always with us. In 3 months that we stayed here we've seen that the people really need the Lord Jesus Christ. Now we have met a lot of friends especially our kids, Shannaiah and Shania. Every afternoon I play basketball with some young people and make friends with them. And now that we have known the place and the people here we are now planning a house to house invitation for home Bible study. My wife will have arts and crafts for children every Saturday, piano and guitar lessons for young people, and at the same time we will share the Word of God. Please continue to help us pray for the work of God here in Sabtang and that God will use us mightily. And also please help us pray that God will provide for us a motorcycle for us to be able to reach other Baranggays. Thank you so much for the support that you are giving the Sabtang mission. It's really a big help for us and for the work of the Lord. Thank you for being our partner in this ministry. May the Lord bless you more and more.

In God's vineyard,

Phil.1:20

Dear Pastor Dave,
Greetings in the precious name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
Thank you so much for the continuous support in my ministry. I'm here in Isabela and serve as an associate pastor of Faith Baptist Church. My ministry here is teaching Sunday School and conducting house to house visitation and evangelism. God is really good! He sent people in our church who accepted Christ as their Lord and Savior. Our prayer is for them to continue to worship and serve GOD. Last month we went into Barrio San Agustin and looked if there is a Baptist Church out there and we found one. Our plan is to have a Bible study and cell group in that place. Please pray for God's provision. By the way, I got married last May 8. May the Lord continue to bless you, your family, and your ministry.

In His Love,
Pastor Alfonso "Bong" Paguigan

OUR SOLE PRIORITY
Our goal is to preach the Gospel in all corners of the world. We serve as a non-denominational agency setting aside small theological differences to get the Word to all peoples. We will not compromise the major doctrinal positions that give structure to our faith and His Church. Standing on solid biblical principles, we proclaim Jesus Christ crucified, risen and coming again. Again, we encourage you to partner with us in this strategic ministry to train leadership and help meet needs.

A SIDE NOTE
Our preaching of the Gospel message is not limited to our personal presence. You can hear or read the weekly messages from God's Word by going to www.fbccanonsburg.org. Again, peoples all over the world have opportunity to listen and receive Jesus Christ as personal Savior. Pray that God will open more communicative doors. In our contemporary world, we need to use diversified means in sharing the divine truths.

IN THE END
The Lord brings the increase as we remain faithful. We preach Christ. Praise God for those who respond to come and know Him. Sadly, the world calls the Gospel foolishness; and yet in the end, "every knee will bow and confess Him as Lord." Those who know Christ will live with Him forever and ever. And those who refuse Christ in this life will be eternally separated from the Savior. Is it worth the energy, effort, time, and monies to preach the Gospel? Yes, the future will tell the results.

LWI PARTNERSHIP
This worldwide ministry can only continue through your prayer and financial support. As we have noted continuously, all designated gifts go one hundred per cent to their assignment. We do not deduct any administrative costs. We also appreciate our partners who entrust us with undesignated funds. Like any Christian organization, we do have administrative expenses, but we try to keep these minimal. When it comes to your partnership, we have two basic goals: 1) to support and train the national pastors and peoples in their leadership roles, and 2) to assist with humanitarian needs. We need prayer and financial partners from all corners of the world. Will you join us in this great effort to preach the Gospel throughout the world?

LWI AND ITS WORLDWIDE MINISTRY
With the commission and authority to reach the lost and dying world for Christ, this ministry has been faithful to the call. Although our funds have often been limited, God has used them to help His peoples in the following countries: Haiti, Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Hong Kong, Turkey, Cambodia, Great Britain, Romania, India, France, and India. We have had requests to go into other countries around the world, but the right opportunities have not come. We keep praying that the Lord will open new doors and provide the resources to accomplish the tasks. We have supplied Bibles, Christian literature, medical supplies, food, and even mattresses for the needy. On one occasion, we gave a gift to a pastor who had lost his home by fire. And as mentioned in our last newsletter, we sent a gift to China to help the earthquake survivors.

LIFTIME OPPORTUNITY
If you plan to go to Israel with us in February, 2009, we need your application and $300 deposit on September 1. Don't miss this wonderful opportunity of a lifetime! The all-inclusive cost is $2530 (based on the present money exchange and airline surcharge). The cost may vary according to the number going on the trip.
